ZAMBOANGA CITY โ August 17, 2019, The Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMCELCO) held its Third Quarter Multi-Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) Meeting at the ZAMCELCO Administration, Putik.
A total of 79 MSEAC officers and members participated together with the officials from ZAMCELCO and Crown Investment Holdings, Inc. MSEAC is composed of member consumers who are the front liners of the ten (10) different districts. Each district has at least 8-10 member consumers at the council. On the Third Quarter MSEAC Meeting, District I has 8 members, District II has 8 members, District III has 5 members, District IV has 5 members, District V has 4 members, District VI has 8 members, District 7 has 6 members, District 8 has 6 members, District 9 has 8 members and District 10 has 8 members in attendance.
One of the highlights of the MSEAC meeting was the presentation of The New ZAMCELCO Plans and Programs delivered by Mr. Roewe A. Andaya, Administrative Head, IM. Mr. Andaya kicked off by emphasizing the joint-management of ZAMCELCO and Crown Investment Holdings, Inc. through an Investor-Management Contract. He Added, โThe New ZAMCELCOโ will provide a reliable, efficient and affordable electricity to the Zamboanga City by infusing PhP2.5B for rehabilitation as well as provide technical, financial and managerial expertise to its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) and make ZAMCELCO a leading electric cooperative in the country.
The MSEAC officers and members raised their complaints and other concerns during the open forum and the workshop moderated by Ms. Claudine Enriquez, HR Manager, IM and Mr. Ferdinand Rodriguez, Member Services Division Supervisor, with Mr. Andaya and Mr. Edwin as the members of the panel. Based from their on-hand experience and observations, the MSEAC officers and members gave some suggestions, solutions that they believe will help improve the services and collections of The New ZAMCELCO.
