ZAMBOANGA CITY | The National Electrification Administration (NEA) headed by the Administrator, Mr. Edgardo R. Masongsong conducted a visit and assessment to the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMCELCO) on Thursday, 30 July 2020. Together with Administrator Masongsong, are Congressman Adriano A. Ebcas of Ako Padayon Pilipino Partylist, GM Edmundo Pacamalan, Jr. of 1-EC Network Foundation, and Mr. Urbano Talibong, National Coordinator of NCECCO.
ZAMCELCO headed by GM Gannymede B. Tiu, Board of Directors: Atty. Carl Rubio, Peter Garcia, Violeta Alejandro, Jaydrick Yap, and John Ebrahim, Investor Managers headed by CMO Henry Rophen B. Virola, together with Roewe A. Endaya, Helen Mae Ijirani, Claudine Enriquez, Atty. Lorenzo Reyes, and Engr. Melburgo Chiu, members of the mancom, employees, and our City Vice Mayor, Hon. Rommel Agan warmly welcomed their team in Zamboanga City.
ZAMCELCO is indeed honored to have been included in the list of electric cooperatives to be visited by these prominent individuals in the power industry given the pandemic situation. The visit and assessment conducted were helpful to the coop as the visitors shared their knowledge and best practices in their respective coops driven by experience and expertise in the electric cooperatives.
