On 18 November 2020 – Wednesday, the New ZAMCELCO Management through its specialized Apprehension Team together with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), TFZ-CAFGU, and Eagle Security, conducted a massive meter check and apprehension activities at Barangay Kasangyangan & Sta. Catalina. The team was able to apprehend 20 illegal connections at Hanapi, Paniran, and Buguk area, and approximately 2,500 houses at Asinan, Kasangyan.
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: Criminal cases are being prepared against the apprehended residents using altered meters, direct tapping, flying, and other illegal connections in the area. The New ZAMCELCO is serious about the implementation of the Anti-Pilferage Campaign under the Republic Act 7832.
