ZAMCELCO strongly condemns the violent acts done by the rebellious entities of bombing the NGCP Tower No.8 on Monday –24 October 2022, in Sitio San Isidro, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte. We deeply sympathize in this situation and encourage our valued MCOs to include all the victims, including the NGCP field personnel, in their prayers.
On Tuesday –25 October 2022, the NGCP conducted a Manual Load Dropping due to the tripping of the Baloi-Aurora 138kV Line. This incident has greatly affected the NGCP area of responsibility, including ZAMCELCO, lowering the latter’s nomination from 101MW to 88MW. To avoid a rotational brownouts, ZAMCELCO increased its nomination to WMPC from 20MW to 50MW for two days.
Thus, we would like to inform our valued MCOs that this may result in elevated power rates for the month of November 2022. We humbly ask for your kind understanding and continued support to ZAMCELCO.
