Power to the people!
The hopes and aspirations of the residents of having access to electricity came into reality, as one hundred forty-nine (149) households of seven (7) sitios from three (3) barangays were officially energized on March 27, 2023, by ZAMCELCO under the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP).
The energized sitios are Sitio Bagakay and Sitio Nangkal of Brgy. Baluno; Sitio Sta. Rita and Sitio Pole Diutay of Brgy. La Paz; and Sitio Sta. Clara, Sitio Cotalan, and Sitio Bagwak of Brgy. Tolosa.
The Energization and Switch-on Ceremony was spearheaded by the SEP team headed by Mr. Arnulfo Ramoya Jr., together with the team members, especially our inspectors, linemen, foremen, engineers, and all team members who have exerted their untiring efforts to energize these sitios.
The ceremony was administered by the General Manager, Engr. Gannymede B. Tiu and the Chief Management Officer, Atty. Rommel S. Agan, together with the Board Members, Dir. Michael Dela Serna and Dir. Arnuel Alviar. The ceremony was also supported and participated by the Barangay Captains, Barangay Kagawads, Barangay officials, Department/Sub-Office Managers, and some ZAMCELCO employees.
The SEP, which aims for 100% household electrification, is a flagship program of the National Electrification Administration for economic development that seeks to energize every unlit sitio or household there is.
